This set contains an Annual Learning Plan overview, and an Individual Learning Plan.
The Individual Learning Plan is a spreadsheet which can be populated with the courses or training each team member at a particular level (i.e. junior auditor or manager) are required to complete. The plan is then individualised, meaning each team member will be responsible for maintiaining their own learning plan for the year. The plan has also been designed so that it aligns to the IIA’s Internal Audit Competency Framework.
The Annual Learning Plan summarises and outlines what training is to be provided for the year and the format in which it is going to be provided (Classroom, Online, or Lunch and Learn sessions).
Things to be careful about
Training is important for the learning and development of team members, however care should be taken to ensure the right training is being provided and the balance between on the job and classroom training is maintained.
